According to an MIIT certification in the past, there would be three mobile phones in the series – Huawei Mate 40, Huawei Mate 40 pro, Huawei Mate 40 pro+.
All these series of mobile phones will happen to launch in China. On October 22, at 14:00 CEDT, which is 5:30 pm IST, the Huawei Mate 40 series is going to be launched as announced by Huawei Executive director, Richard Yu in a Weibo post recently.

A teaser clip for the Mate 40 has also been released alongside the poster. The poster confirms the launch event time 8pm local time (5:30 pm IST), the background has an image of what the sky would look like from the bottom of a well.
It could be portraying an eye ball hinting at the focus abilities. The video hardly reveals details, it only features an eye that closes and opens to reveal the launch date and time of the new series.
Talking about the camera, Huawei’s flagship phones are well known for its outstanding camera, now the Mate 40 would definitely boast of a great camera system as well. The primary or the main camera would be likely to have 108MP as speculated a few months back. Going to overall clarity,
the probability of 9P lens usage is high. As per a Chinese tipster, the entry from the Compulsory Certification of China database is revealed on Weibo in late September. Data suggests that the charging speed would be up to 66W.
The first model is tipped to be the vanilla Huawei Mate 40 with the code name Ocean, mode number OCE-AN00, and the second one Huawei Mate 40 pro with the code name Noah, model number NOH-ANOO. The third one, the most premium Huawei Mate 40 pro+ with model number NOP-AN00. The series will the first of the Kirin 9000 chipset, would make it the last smartphone from Kirin due to the ban the company is facing. One should wait till the launch event to purchase and experience these amazing series of Mobile phones.
